Leaving

Harder than I thought it would be, to say the least.  Who knew how attached to people I would get in just over one month?  May have had something to do with the awesomeness of the people in question, and also the fact that we were all around each other most of each day.  Close quarters can help engender close relationships I think.

Last night, they gave me the most amazing going away gift.  At the farm, they do this thing called "fairy in the middle" which is where one or two people get massaged by usually 3-6 people each, for 30 minutes.  It is super amazing, relaxing, and wonderful.  I didn't think I was going to get to be the fairy again before I left, but Vincent made it happen, and because it wasn't the usually scheduled fairy night, I was the only one getting massaged.  I had *12* people massaging me for a half an hour last night.  It was... heavenly.  Ecstatic.  Add to that that Vincent was feeding me farm fresh handmade chocolates.... Just wow.  I felt very loved, and got a surfeit of touch, which is good since I don't know how much I'll get in the next couple months.

Stayed up late talking with Casper, and then is was morning too soon.  I made it until we were loading the truck with luggage before I started crying. :-/  I'm going to miss them so much!

Oh, and one other cool thing.  There were two kids there, 4 and 5, from Israel.  They gave me a name. I can't remember the phonetic spelling in Hebrew, but it means "The one who loves to laugh".  I think this is bound to be a tattoo of mine (in Hebrew) at some point. :-D

  2. I can't think of a better, happier, lovelier nickname to have. Make sure you keep earning it.
